“Staff management” training course was held on 20-26 January 2018 in Tallinn city of the Republic of Estonia. The venue of this training course was the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences.
“Staff Management” course is funded by the European Union Civil Security Training Program. The co-organizers of the training course are: Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA).
The main aim of “Staff Management” course was to increase a team management skills of course participants including a management skills of staff of other possible different structures. After graduation of “Staff management” course the participants will be able to advise team leaders on issues related to staff management and procedures of management of the entire system (including information management and management of work processes).
The Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society was represented in “Staff management” course by Deputy Executive Secretary Sabina Mahbubi-Iran.
It should be mentioned so far the representatives of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society had several times an opportunity to participate in similar courses and trainings. Such opportunity has been resulted from recommendations of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and from recommendations of Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA). The Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society has a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry for Emergency Situations.
